‘I’d been chatting to this guy on ‘What’s App’ for a while and we decided to meet up for a drink. We’d already sent each other photos of one another and I was quite excited to meet him as we seemed to have a real rapport online. Anyway, when he turned up he looked uncomfortable and shifty and kept trying to look at my shoes. I asked him if he as okay and he blurted out ‘You’re taller than me. And you’re not even wearing heels. I can’t go out with a woman who’s taller than me. Sorry. This isn’t going to work.’ And left! Thing is I’m not tall at all!
